COVID 19 - BCP Implementation
Service Update
Over the last few weeks, we have been actively monitoring the development of Covid-19 and we have supported the UK Government’s approach by implementing a range of measures across our business. Our priority is to continue to ensure the health and well-being of our staff, clients and other businesses/individuals we come in contact with, whilst continuing to deliver our key services.
Conveyancing Data Services (part of the TM Group) has continually invested inflexible and secure technology which underpins all of our products and services. As part of our role as a trusted partner to our clients, CDS has a long-established Business Continuity Plan (BCP) in place to ensure such services to our clients can continue in a wide range of circumstances. Following the announcement on Monday of the UK Government’s recommendation that people avoid unnecessary travel and contact, I can confirm that CDS is in the process of implementing our Business Continuity Plans and moving to Remote Working for all staff later this week.
We are proactively working with our partners and suppliers to understand and mitigate any loss of service that may happen if they change their processes, eg. in the event of Local Authorities or Water Companies closing their doors, and we will ensure that we continue to keep you informed of any such developments, the impact that may have on your timescales, and any alternative options that you may want to consider.
But for now, the message we are receiving from our suppliers is very much “Business as Usual".
Whilst we are advising all staff to avoid unnecessary travel, Account Managers and other staff will remain contactable throughout, and we have the ability to arrange virtual meetings to avoid the need to travel and maintain our social distance.
By the end of the week, all our staff will be working from home, but the regularly great service you receive from us will not change. If you have any questions arising from this statement then please don’t hesitate to contact us directly.
Regards,
Matthew Joy, Jonathan Stebbings & Lee Richards
